Starting off the day with a chuckle

The United Dairy Farmers' chain of stores in Ohio last week posted signs stating that no firearms were allowed. And promptly got robbed five times.

Perhaps the robbers were illiterate? Maybe not, since one made his robbery demand while empty-handed, announcing that his gun was in his pocket and he would take it out unless give the money. That's not an approach one would take if there was any chance of the clerk having his own piece under the counter.

As a retired LEO, I'm no friend of crime or criminals. However, because of idiotic positions like the UDF made to prohibit concealed carry in their stores, crime may actually be increasing there.

These's going to be crime. We can't stop all of it. As long as there is going to be some, one would hope it happens at places that ignore the reality of crime and criminals. One of those places is now UDF.

Sic semper tyrannis.
